Read the Globe article, and you may better understand why Canada's banks aren't "regulated"as they should be.The optics, {Scotiabank} clearly couldn't,and doesn't care about. Issue: Compared with its competitors,Scotia has a problem with its digital consumer e-commerce.

Example, the email alert system for its paperless customers is an island unto itself .Where Scotia's representatives aren't trained to address the poor user design. Yet,if you mess up a payment due to their e-com.for example,it's your mistake, not Scotia's. President's Office is an attempt to remove any accountability, rude has been the experience. Hydro One players paid for exclusive access to Ontario cabinet ministers ADRIAN MORROW, TORONTO — The Globe and Mail " One of the banks that ran the lucrative privatization of Hydro One promoted a $7,500-per-person fundraiser for the two Ontario provincial cabinet ministers in charge of the sale, The Globe and Mail has learned...

Finance Minister Charles Sousa and Energy Minister Bob Chiarelli, appears to have raised about $165,000 for the Liberals. The fundraiser was promoted by Bank of Nova Scotia, one of the lead underwriters for Hydro One’s initial public offering"

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: $500 worth of transactions missed for my annual rebate.write letters stating it wasn't my issue that I missed payments. Internally, remove the negative credit impact, and update credit bureaus to remove the blemish to my credit rating. .

I liked: Fraud protection.

I didn't like: Failure to resolve a problem scotia created.
