Scotiabank - Soctia is has the worst business pratices I have come across.
Scotia Bank is talking with me and trying to resolve the issue, I will keep you posted.
I had one account at Soctia and never asked for overdraft!
I had a death in the family who was 27 and a sick son, I forgot about this one account that automatic payment out.
Who Without a phone call Scotia sent it to to collection agencies. One was not aware of the other I thought there was one.
The settlement came from one collection agency I accidentally paid the other ones when I thought there was only one collection agency. Once we got that sorted out and the account was closed and Scotia had told me they were satisfied. They sent it again to another collection agency for even more than it was originally. I have one account with Scotia it's closed they're saying that I have to which is lie.
Run don't walk away from this bank. They do not return phone calls and lie when they do.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $4000.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Scotiabank Cons: Shady busness partices.
Location: 116, 1644 Hillside Ave, Victoria, BC V8T 2C5, Canada

Scotiabank Manager Sasha Morales at the 550 Burrard Street Branch is without question the most unprofessional and vial person. I know I am not alone in having to deal with this horrid person.
The first thing I encourage everyone to post and complain in writing to the Scotia Banks Ombudsman Office in Toronto.
Only in this manner will something be done. Condescending, rule, vial, argumentative, aggressive and will not hesitate to lie.
